The Stunning Emerald Dress

Hi People,

I want to apologize for updating any post all through the month of August.
I embarked on a one month leave and only just returned.

Meet Miss Judith, a new client who totally slayed in her love gold and green lacey and satin fabric at a wedding in Gombe State.

FRONT COVER, #Thrills&Thrives Magazine - 3rd Edition!!!

Hey Fam!!!

Front Page- Cover Page

We've got good news!!!

Yours truly was featured on the front cover of #Thrills&Thrives magazine, the 3rd edition in December, 2013.

Find link Here.

KIJC ENTERPRISES NIG. LIMITED, the owners of #Thrills&Thrives magazine is a Leadership Development company which specializes in Publishing, Training, Hosting Talk Shows, as well as the business of General Supplies and Dealership.

Mrs. Iquo Okon, the chief editor contacted me last year via a mutual friend

Mrs. Iquo Okon is a kind-hearted, patient and a serious minded lady. She provided me with questions, nudged me on countlessly for more insight and has inspired me in ways she doesn't know.

The feature was mostly centered on how up-coming entrepreneurs start up, survive and thrive in their various choice businesses.

It was indeed a great honour to be featured in her magazine and to show the world what knonyekouture is about.

#TheFlirtyTrumpetSkirt

Hey Fam,

This Friday, KnonyeKouture brings to you her first #Ankaraflirty trumpetskirt.
I absolutely love wearing skirts…there’s such a touch of femininity about them. Trumpet skirts seem to exude an air of sophistication.

The trumpet skirt is the kind of piece that can take you easily from the office to cocktail hour, and my favorite part, it makes your butt look great. The skirt can help build up your rear view when it’s on the flatter side.

A trumpet hem is so named because the swingy hem bears a resemblance to the shape of the musical instrument after which it is called.

Trumpet skirts, also called Mermaid skirts, are fitted through the hips and thighs and flare at the bottom and are incredibly flattering on all body types

Here's why: The volume at the hem is a nice balance to your shoulders (especially if you're a bold-shouldered gurl), and the body-skimming shape at the waist and thigh is offset by the movement at the bottom of the skirt.

How to Wear It:
The top—whether it's off-the-shoulder or more fitted—needs to come in at the waist. Nothing should be loose or untucked.

Left : Pink Midi Trumpet Skirt paired with a patterned shirt and a yellow belt, Right : White Mini Lacy Trumpet Skirt

@Stylepantry rocking a Blue Midi Trumpet Dress paired with a  structured green coat and green shoes.

This is how i wore my ankara trumpet skirt:

Denim Top:      Emoda
Skirt:              KnonyeKouture
Sandals:          Steve Madden
Bag:                 Wewe
Neckpiece:      Opia

IGBA NKWU NWANYI (Nonye & Nnamdi)

Hello Fam,

So sorry I didn’t post any updates through out the month of May but as you all know, the whole of May was spent making preparations for my Traditional Marriage ceremony (+ pre-honeymoon vacay *winks*) and God made it perfect.

My siblings and I took off on a Tuesday, got to Awka safely and got down to business.
Wednesday was spent shopping for souvenirs in the famous Onitsha (My new home) Main Market.

THURSDAY: INTRODUCTION
At 3:00pm, The Elders from Mr. O’s family and his uncles traveled down to Awka for the introduction.

It was a small gathering of Elders from the Umuzocha Community (My Family) and   the Umudei Community (Mr. O’s Family).

I was summoned to the gathering and asked if I wanted the Elders to accept the drinks from Ndi Obia (the visitors) and I answered in the affirmative *excited* and then I was given a cup of palm-wine to take a sip and then hand over to my Mr.O so he too could drink it up and be identified and accepted as my suitor, and I did.
