The Long Slit Skirt...

Lucy Christiana, Lady Duff-Gordon (née Sutherland) was a leading fashion designer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, best known as "Lucile", her professional name. The first English designer to achieve international renown, Lucile was a widely acknowledged innovator in couture styles as well as in fashion industry public relations. Apart from originating the "mannequin parade", a precursor to the modern fashion show, and training the first professional models, she launched liberating slit skirts which that has become the trend in this modern time.

 

Long slit skirts can be worn to all kinds of occasion like weddings, parties, picnics, red carpet events and shows.

Long slit skirts can be made with various fabrics like Ankara, Silk, Chiffon, cotton, etc.

  

This is my idea of an ankle-length Ankara pencil skirt with a long slit in front. I attended two weddings in September, Ken and Anita (21st) and Chika and Nnanna (28th) and i had so much fun. as usual, i  made my outfits myself and i totally rocked it. Happy Married life my friends!!!
